DSP. Signs are Maker Marked Walker & Co., & Sims Advertising. Wow! What an impressive piece of Porcelain Neon Advertising for Chevrolet and Buick Automobiles. Side one is the Chevrolet Super Service Side. The Chevrolet side is in absolutely outstanding condition, showing incredible color & gloss throughout the field showing no areas of chipping in the field as well as bright glowing neon. Side one shows some minor areas of rust staining in the white border in a couple areas, most of which should remove easily. The Chevrolet side shows some very minimal areas of outer edge chipping at the corners as well as some very minor chips where the top and bottom sign meet. The Chevrolet side would be very tough to improve upon, Grade 9.0+. Side two is is Buick Authorized Service Die Cut Porcelain Sign. The Buick Sign shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with a few minor areas of dullness in the gloss as well as some minor rust staining areas that may come off. The Buick side shows some very minor areas of chipping at the outer left and right edge at the mounting holes as well as some minor chipping where the two portions of the sign meet. Overall this is an outstanding example that grades conservatively at 8.75+. The signs are mounted on their original can, and the can is mounted to an original Die Cut Tin Cloud that displays the signs very well. The cloud shows an excellent patina to the paint as well as a neon border on each of the edges. An outstanding piece of unique and possibly one of a kind piece of Porcelain & Neon advertising from Buick & Chevrolet.
