SST. A wonderful example of this extremely rare and highly sought after 1930's Tin Service Station Sign from Grizzly Gasoline a product of Northwest Refining Company, Cut Bank, Montana. One of the finest known examples, this Sign features an outstanding condition Standing Bear graphic as well as Grizzly Script throughout the outer field with, "Dubbs Cracked" slogan. CONDITION: Sign is in excellent condition showing very good color & gloss throughout the field with a near immaculate Bear graphic. The Bear shows only a few minor areas of light surface scratch and overall displays outstanding. The majority of the inner field is very clean showing only minor areas of light surface scratching with an area of rust staining under the "R" of Grizzly as well as a rust spot near the "D" of Dubbs. The outer field is very clean showing only a few minor areas of light staining and the outer edge is extremely clean showing excellent condition blue paint and very minimal wear. Sign shows all eight of its original brass grommets and the paint is sturdy and very sound. Sign shows no areas of denting and overall displays incredibly well. One of the finer examples of this Sign that has ever sold publicly and an important & iconic piece of early Montana Service Station History.
