Crisp box has gorgeous graphics on all sides including top, which shows Popeye flying an airplane. Box has "House of Bargains" price sticker with listed price of 88 cents in upper right corner. Marked "King Features Syndicate" on the toy. One of the rarest and most desirable Linemar toys and one of the rarest and most desirable Popeye toys for the serious collector. CONDITION: Box has very little wear. Toy itself is all original including back tail fin, pipe, pipe bowl and front propeller. Very slight wear where propeller turns around and some slight play nicks, but overall toy and box are excellent to near mint condition. From the Jeff Landes Collection.
