RARE STONEWARE JUG DECORATED WITH LEAPING STAG IN COBALT BLUE.Mid-19th century, Bennington, Vermont. J&E Norton 4 gallon jug. The cobalt blue decoration depicting a stag leaping over split rail fence in a pastoral landscape. SIZE: 17" h. CONDITION: A depression from the making in the center of the body.
