DST. A very nice example of this highly sought after sign from Shell Gasoline. Side one shows very good color & gloss, with a super clean field showing only minimal surface scratching in a few areas and some light wear along the outer edge at the right side. Side two is also in very good condition with excellent color & gloss and a clean field showing only a couple of minor surface scratches. The outer edge shows one area of paint loss at the left of the Shell graphic, as well as some minor discoloration at the bottom right edge. The flange portion is in very good condition. Overall an excellent example of this tough to find sign from Shell Gasoline. Sign is Maker Marked American Art Works, Coshocton, Ohio.
