Lot consists of six items: (A) One sheet, 2p. financial account in French dated 1778, with reference to Arkansas, likely Arkansas Post, ceded by France to Spain in 1778. (B) Invoice of goods purchased by Capt. James O’Hara at the Spanish Arkanzes for ac. of the United States.” (C) Folio, 3 pages filled out, receipts for bounty money paid by Edward Rogers for the “present expedition.” 1 sheet. 2p. (D) Fragmentary account of pay to men by Lieut. Rogers (E) May 12, 1759, fragmentary receipt by men receiving back pay from Lieut. Edward Rogers on behalf of Col. N. Whiting (F) Receipt signed by Robert Lyons for certificate for money received from Thomas Robinson as, “pay as a soldier in his Company of Rangers.” Lt. Edward Rogers served in Col. Nathaniel Whiting’s 2nd Connecticut Regiment of 1759. Thomas Robinson raised and commanded a company of rangers in Pennsylvania, rebuilt Ft. Muncy at Sunbury about 1781 and then commanded the fort at Wyoming in 1783. CONDITION: Good. Largest 8 - 1/2 X 13 in.
