An extremely rare and beautiful Favrile glass and patinated bronze ball candlestick lamp by Tiffany Studios. The candlestick features a pedestal comprised of 16 iridescent Favrile glass balls. Arising from the pedestal is a central column with 2 twisted bronze sections, in which 2 larger Favrile glass balls sit. At the top of the candlestick is a large Favrile glass cup. Sitting in the cup is a gold Favrile glass Tiffany Studios ribbed shade. The underside of the candlestick is stamped "Tiffany Studios New York 1223" with an additional stamp reading "S720, the "S" suggesting this piece is a showroom piece. Condition: The candlestick is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips to the Favrile glass. The shade is free of any cracks or chips. The bronze is free of cracks or deformities. The patina is well-maintained, with a very small area of loss to the patina on the pedestal.
