Full curly maple stocked Kentucky style rifle with Ashmore marked percussion lock with single trigger. Brass furniture including a four piece engraved patchox similar to those used by Jacob Fordney of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Coin silver thumbpiece and cheek inlay. Full octagon smoothbore barrel with rifle sights. Wrist checkering with dark stock finish. CONDITION: Brass and silver have been cleaned with stock showing traces of original finish with some small usage cracks. Metal faded to plum with good mechanics and dark bore. Barrel probably shortened at one point. DLM
