Brass barrel made without sights and stamped with offset proofs comprising two lozenges with what appear to be London commercial proofs, and a Crown over "RW". Remnants of engraving at top of barrel. Iron tang. Lockplate with stepped tail, stamped "(Crown) / GR" in center, swan neck cock, "R B" engraved at tail. Dark wood ramrod, a replacement, retained by a single brass ferrule.Brass trigger guard with pineapple finial. Bag grip. CONDITION: Good. Brass has acquired a uniform deep mustard patina. Lock is essentially dove grey with some freckling throughout. Stock is very good with some marks from handling and operation throughout. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is good with some oxidation towards breech. EW
