Manufactured from 1870 to 1890, this example with early 3-digit "109" serial number produced soon after Colt acquired the design from National Arms. Fit with a 2 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .41 rimfire with 2-line address, "No. 1" model designation, and German silver half moon sight. Standard lightly foliate engraved steel spur trigger frame. CONDITION: Good, displaying a cleaned silvery patina throughout with a frosted surface. Strong bore displaying well defined rifling with some areas of black powder pitting. Mechanically fine. Matching serial numbers observed on frame and barrel.
