Made in 1874 second year of production. Single line address on top of the barrel. It is has the full serial number on the barrel under the ejector housing, cylinder, frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. There is an A (Ainsworth) on the bottom of the barrel. The A that is supposed to be on the trigger guard, cylinder and the top of the back strap have been engraved over. Two line patent date and a U.S. on the left side of frame. Small single action front sight, bulls eye ejector, 6 shot fluted cylinder and 1 piece ivory grips. It has the original hammer with the elongated, deeply crosshatched spur. CONDITION: Gun retains 90% of the aftermarket nickel finish. Gun has been engraved with a scroll and punch dot motif. Hammer has all 4 clicks. Action indexes and locks up tight. Fair bore with strong lands and grooves. Nice 1 piece Ivory grips with lots of patina. REW
