Manually revolved early type, .28 caliber percussion, six shot, 2 1/2" octagon barrel. Factory scroll engraved frame and hammer with floral pattern cylinder. About 900 of these early models were made from 1851-60. This cased example features ivory grips with Mass. Arms Co. on top strap. CONDITION: Metal is basically a soft crisp gray patina with flashes of original blue. Near mint mirror bore and fine action. Comes with a Mass. Arms stamped single cavity brass bullet mold and copper flask. Case is in excellent condition.
