12 mm caliber, Barrel length 6-1/2". This Civil War era, six shot, double action revolver was produced in Belgium, utilizing the Lefaucheux pinfire system. Features blued finish, with walnut checkered bag handle two piece grips with lanyard ring. The Belgian proof mark can be found on the cylinder. Indexes perfectly but trigger rebound spring is sticky. Strong rifle bore with black powder abrasion. Metal is a mix of blue brown patina with scattered age spotting and flashes of brilliant blue. Original grips are very good with no cracks, but do have some added finish. These revolvers were imported into the Confederacy by the thousands and as such, are very desirable with Civil War era firearms collectors
