Octagonal barrels with microgroove rifling and visible Damascus twist, left side marked with ELG proof. Reinforced cocks. Sliding trigger guard protecting double triggers, which doubles as a safety. Bag grip with crosshatch checkered panels and beaded decoration. Light wire inlay behind boxlock. Ramrod retained by a pair of thimbles on underside of rib. CONDITION: Barrels retain much of a reapplied brown finish with silvering to high edges and muzzle, over some spotted oxidation. Boxlock action essentially a smooth chocolate patina with flashes of grey at edges, crisp legends. Some wire inlay missing. Stock is very good with some minor bumps and bruises. Thumbpiece replaced with a modern iteration. EMW
