Early production serial number 98 manufactured in the 1880s by Hopkins & Allen. Nickel finish, 3" round barrel with rib, 2-line address, half moon front sight, V-notch rear sight, fluted 5-shot cylinder chambered for .32 Short, checkered case hardened hammer, case hardened trigger guard, and 2-piece checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Excellent retaining bountiful amounts of factory applied nickel finish with some clouding and a few flakes on grip straps, a drag line, and scattered handling marks. Bright case colors retained on hammer, with trigger and trigger guard faded. Grips very good with a few minor marks. Bright bore with strong rifling. Good mechanics. Numbers matching on frame, barrel assembly, cylinder and on inside of grips. BAS
