Standard model produced by Moore's Patent Firearms Co. in New York circa early 1860s. Silver plated 2 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .41 rimfire with "MOORE'S PAT" address, half moon front sight, and scroll and arrow engraving. Standard silver plated brass frame with curved trigger, as well as foliate scroll over punch dot engraving. CONDITION: Very fine. The vast majority of the silver plating is intact, exhibiting a mellowing patina with some areas of bubbling and small spots of loss. Bore displays defined rifling with black powder pitting throughout. Hammer does not hold back in the cocked position.
