Caliber .79 bore, Barrel length 44-1/2”. Offered is an all original untouched Revolutionary War French Charleville 1766 musket. Features: three bands, iron furniture, original swivels, arsenal mark on side plates with the manufacturer mark on the lock. Rifle is in lovely, untouched, all original condition with dark brown patina. Wood is very good to excellent with marks but no issues. These rifles were exported into the U.S. and saw wide spread use during the Revolutionary War in the colonies. This is a fine example of this historic firearm.
