37-3/4’’ barrel in .54 caliber percussion. No maker on barrel. Lock appears to be to stamped “J. Henry”. Features a striped maple stock with checkered wrist, three barrel wedges with escutcheons, three brass rod retaining thimbles, single trigger, brass trigger guard, brass butt-plate and heel guard. There is a nickel deer inlay on left cheek piece, a brass thumb plate, and a Brass patch-box that has a beautiful patina. Metal over-all is a dark brown patina. Stock has chipping around side-plate and tang, otherwise very good. Working condition.
