Cal .38-40 cartridge. Barrel length 24”. This rifle was manufactured in 1889. It is chambered for the 38-40 cartridge. This is a standard rifles that features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, walnut stock and a crescent steel butt plate. All metal surfaces have been cleaned and are in the white with fine deep legends. Stocks are very good, no cracks and yet are a bit shy to metal. Right side of stock has some carvings. Perfect working order. Decent rifled bore.
