This beautiful pre-War .38 Super was made in 1934 and is a standard blue example in all respects. Features include wide checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, full checkered walnut grips, checkered arched mainspring housing, short checkered trigger with type III rear sight that has beveled edge and square notch. CONDITION: As to finish, there is only a light drag line and a faint hint of muzzle wear. A solid 99% factory all original pre-war Colt .38 Super that would be hard to improve on. The proper pre-war box is not numbered but is still in superb condition with just high edge wear and complete with no broken corners or aprons. The original instructions are included along with shooting instructions and scarce .38 Super booklet, in color, with bobcat on cover. The gun comes with one original two tone tempered pre-war stamped magazine and one modern extra. One of the best out there. DB CORRECTION: It has come to our attention that the gun is professionally refinished.
