The bridge on this rifle has been polished so armory not known but it is an 03 action. The barrel has several drilled and tapped flush screws. There is no rear barrel sight. The front sight is banded and has a dovetailed globe. The straight grip walnut stock is elaborately hand carved. The left side of stock on its roll over comb exhibits a slogan banner with oak leaves and a silver European coin. There is also a carved tiger and a flower carving on left side. Right side of stock exhibits a large antlered game, a beaked fowl and matching flower. Grip and forearm are also checkered. There is a stone mounted on grip base. The forearm tip is black and sporting a worn waffle recoil pad as well. This rifle sports the desirable Lyman No. 48 long slide peep sight. Bolt knob is checkered. Receiver bridge has scope holes that are not filled. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains no original finish. Frame shows much of the re-applied blue. Stock is solid showing some minor dings with added finish. Mechanically sound. Bore is well defined but frosted.
