Just under 4,000 AR-180 rifles were manufactured for ArmaLite by Howa in Japan between 1972 and 1974. This late production example was built in 1974. Rifle features full parkerized finish. Pencil barrel with bird cage flash hider, protected post front sight, and aperture rear. Also mounted with correct quick detach ArmaLite marked 2.75x20mm scope with covers. The original scope box is also included. Stamped upper and lower receiver marked on the left with maker information. Furniture includes ventilated polymer handguard, AR-18 marked pistol grip, and sidefolding stock with ribbed rubber pad. Gun is accompanied by 2 20-round ArmaLite magazines, 5 30-round magazines, an additional quick detach scope mount, nylon sling, and cleaning tools. CONDITION: Very good. The vast majority of the parkerized finish is retained with some scuffs, high edge silvering, and wear. Stocks are very good with handling marks. Crisp, bright bore. Fine mechanics. Clear optics.
