This quality single shot bolt action sporting rifle bears the large Mauser banner on left side of walnut pistol grip stock. Barrel features the military style rear sight with ramp front sight. Receiver is grooved for scope or external target sights. The Mauser legend is found on left side and top of frame. Trigger guard is checkered. Metal butt plate has the Mauser banner as well but shows some corrosion. Production of all 340 models ceased in 1939. CONDITION: Fine. Metal retains the majority of the factory blue finish with some minor handling marks. Stock is solid with scattered dings and impressions. Bore is bold but lightly frosted. Mechanically sound.
