The Austrian built Model SL (super light) rifle was offered from 1967 to 1996.Rifle only weights 6lbs 7 oz. It features the diamond faceted tapered barrel with a dovetailed globe on ramp front sight, a fixed rear sight base with dovetailed sight no longer present but does sport a set of Buehler mounts and rings. It is magazine fed (included) and features double set triggers, a butter knife bolt handle, a walnut stock with diamond skip checkered pistol grip with a black cap, s Steyr black butt plate and sling eyes. Features the European style Monte Carlo comb with roll over cheek piece. CONDITION: Excellent. Rifle shows in near new condition showing only minor handling. Mechanically sound with working set triggers and a bright bold bore with light fronting.
