Features include; Long frame, round pencil barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear toggle link. Wide grip safety. Walnut checkered grips. Eight round detachable box magazine. This is an interesting gun. It is made up of both Waffenfabrik Bern and DWM parts. But the gun is all matching. It could be one of the ten gun assembled from spare parts, as stated on page 49 of The Swiss Variations 1897-1947 by Fred A. Datig. It has a DWM frame with grip safety and stock lug. Waffenfabrik barrel, grips and toggle assembly. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 95% of the arsenal refinish. Straw small parts. Great bore with strong lands and grooves. Nickel magazine with the Swiss style inserts in the wood magazine bottom. The extractor is unmarked.
