U.S. Underwood M1 Carbine Semi Automatic Rifle. No magazine with this rifle. Manufactured in approximately February of 1944. Barrel is Underwood marked and is dated "3-43". Post war style bayonet lug, band and rear sight. Band is Saginaw marked. "I" cut stock marked "RMC" in the sling cut out. Stock retains its "circle P" acceptance stamp, in addition to a rack number of "21" painted on the pistol grip, and "USA" painted under the sling cut out. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 75% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks in areas. Stock is good, with numerous dings and scratches. Bore is clean with fair rifling left. Overall, a decent example of a Post World War 2 rebuild M1 Carbine. JA
