World War II production Winchester U.S. M1 Garand rifle with correct leather sling and buttstock cleaning kit. February 1944 production receiver with the appropriate Winchester barrel. Correct "lock-bar" rear sight, early trigger guard and gas plug. All major parts examined are marked "W.R.A." indicating Winchester production, including the stock which also retains its U.S. acceptance marks on the pistol grip. CONDITION: Rifle is in overall excellent condition. Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear on the sharp edges. Stock is very good with light handling marks. Bore is clean with a good amount of rifling left. Muzzle measures a 4, throat measures a 2. Sling is very good and is dated 1944. Cleaning kit is very good as well. An excellent example of a hard to find World War 2 correct Winchester M1 Garand. JA
