Standard production ac/45 Walther k.43 rifle, made in 1945. Matching numbers on bolt and receiver. The stock does not appear to be numbered. Eagle 359 inspectors marks on metal and left side of stock. Accompanying this gun is an original brown leather sling, 2 "awj" marked magazines, spare small parts (firing pin, firing pin extension, & bolt locking lug with pin) with original wrapping paper, original manual, cleaning kit in butt with additional small parts, and cleaning rod. Also with this gun is the original "Capture Paper" listing the gun as a "German automatic rifle" by serial number from the European Theater, in duplicate. Papers are dated 10th May, 1945. CONDITION: Gun retains 85% finish overall mixed with a pleasing patina. Some light surface rust. All markings in metal are clear. Laminated stock has dings and handling marks, markings are soft. Laminated wood hand guard has some cracks from age. Bore is good with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. There is an old silver soldered repair to the safety lever at the rear of the receiver. Parts and accessories in like condition. Capture papers exhibit some foxing as well as creases from having been folded into quarters. GR
