Broadhead Armory registered auto sear installed in a fine Inland manufactured US M1 Carbine. Marked “M1” on the receiver, without any markings on barrel. This host gun has been retrofitted with adjustable rear peep sight and bayonet lug forward barrel band. Flip safety and absolutely stunningly beautiful rich, brown stock with four rivet handguard. Flat bolt. Includes one 15 round magazine and one Lift-the-Dot web sling. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. The M2 Carbine was fielded at the very end of World War II with most going to the Pacific Theater. After the war, many M1 Carbines were retrofitted and made into M2 carbines by the US government. These guns saw service throughout the Korean and Vietnam War eras and were supplied to other countries by the United States thereafter. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent arsenal refinish with some thinning to a grey patina where the charging handle rides on the receiver. Wood is exceptional with only the slightest of handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. This is a select fire machine gun. A great and handy recreational machine gun, or home defense gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2020-11-045
