Registered tube manufactured by P.A.W.S. (Police Automatic Weapons Service) as a close copy of the reliable of the British Sterling machine gun, remanufactured by noted American gunsmith John Andrewski using original British Sterling parts kits. This sets this gun apart from other typical P.A.W.S. manufactured guns. The top of the magazine well is marked "P.A.W.S INC/ SALEM. ORE./ U.S.A./ ZX5 MK2E" above the serial number. 3-positition selector is marked "A", "R", "S". Features include black "wrinkle" finish, 8 - 1/2" barrel, perforated barrel shroud, side mounted bayonet lug, 7 - 5/8" mounted upper picatinny rail, checkered black plastic pistol grip, under folding buttstock, as well as standard Sterling pattern front and rear sights. Complete with two additional Sterling magazines. CONDITION: Fine overall, with metal components retaining virtually all of their black "wrinkle" finish, exhibiting few and minor handling marks all around. Bright bore, exhibiting some spots of oxidation and retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Mechanics are crisp. Grip shows some smoothing and scattered handling marks, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. This is a super opportunity for an American collector and shooting enthusiast to acquire a fully transferable "Sterling". This gun is fantastic fun at the range.
