Very desirable and extremely low serial number Poly Tech AKS-223 with wood furnishings and bipod as converted into a machine gun by Fleming Firearms. No magazine present. Imported by “KENG’S FIREARM SPECIALITY” on underside of receiver forward of magazine well, with added hand electro-penciled "FLEMING FIREARMS INC / COLLINSVILLE, OK". These guns were manufactured inn .223 for export and sale in the United States. Some, such as this one, which were imported before May 1986 were converted into fully transferable machine guns. Electronic NFA registry indicates “
FORM 2 REGISTRATION” in the manufacturer’s block. PROVENANCE: From the machine gun collection of noted William “Happiness is a Warm Machine Gun” Fleming. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent blue finish with unvarnished wood showing some handling marks. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. A really nice specimen of the most widely recognized and used assault rifle design in the world. An opportunity for the machine gun enthusiast.
