Ramo Inc. registered Browning Model 1919A6 . 30 caliber machine gun with ”Elephant" logo manufacturer’s marking and address on right sideplate on an original U.S.G.I. parts set. Bolt is a .30-06 bolt. Cartridge stop present in feedway. Heavy duty bipod legs, shoulder extension with pistol grip, and carrying handle are present. Included with this lot is a lightweight “soft” mount with adapting hardware to accept this gun. A very comfortable and stable shooting platform. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine refinish upon remanufacture with some light handling marks. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt is also near excellent. This is a full-auto only machine gun. Tripod is extremely fine, green painted finish with machined aluminum adapter blocks. Steel traverse rail turned brown. The Browning 1919A6 was an improvement over the 1919A4 achieving the goal of more expedient portable hasty stability and controllability. This gun is a great American classic and always one of the most popular and distinctive sounding guns at any range event. Seldom available in this configuration.
