Springfield manufactured Pattern 1816 musket with lock dated 1830 and marked Springfield with Eagle over "US" stamps. Brass flash pan. Musket barrel with "V" and "Eagle" proofs near breech. "US" mark on top of comb on buttplate. Walnut musket style stock with three bands and visible cartouches on left side of stock. Iron furniture with iron ramrod. CONDITION: Overall fine condition with dark patina on metal parts and oiled finish on stock with usage marks. Mechanically solid with replaced lock and screws. Lock is in its original flintlock configuration. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
