There is a vintage typed note card with this pistol attributing this gun to the James Hunter family with TSH stamp under barrel founded before the Revolutionary War with note to a similar piece in the William Locke collection. There is a visible but not legible cartouche (CK?) in box on left side of stock. There is a visible stamp on lock with only SA legible. You can read "CSVA" stamp at top of barrel as well as CSA stamp on left side of stock that appears to be later stamp. Left side of barrel is has mark that appears to be a European barrel and has been converted. CONDITION: GOOD as assembled.
