This is a lovely early post war era factory made sporting rifle in a scarce caliber. The metal is blued and sports a hooded ramp front sight ,no rear sight slot, sporting a Redfield scope. The walnut stock features a checkered pistol grip with cap, a grip cap, an FN Mauser butt plate, straight comb, roll over cheek piece, checkered foe-arm and sling swivels. The frame wears the FN legend. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains majority of the blue finish with minor handling marks. The stock is excellent with impressions and some minor finish loss near butt plate and grip. Mechanically sound. Bore is bold but lightly frosted.
