U.S. Springfield Model 1903 made at Springfield Armory in 1927. "SA" marked blued military barrel with Flaming Bomb and dated "10-27" with covered front sight and graduated flip rear sight marked up to 2800 yards. Springfield marked action with blued milled floorplate and blued "R" marked bolt with swept bolt handle. Walnut "C" stock with "A.H.A" and "R.A.-1" rebuild marks and blued steel hardware. Checkered steel trap buttplate with oiler inside. Grooved walnut top wood without hump. Comes with period correct looking leather sling. CONDITIOPN: 90% original metal finish fading to a brown patina. Wood is in good condition with heavy oil soaked appearance. Excellent bore with ME of 2 and TE of 3 with good mechanics. DLM
