Standard military M16A2 machine gun manufactured by Colt for the U.S. Government. The left side of the receiver bears the Rampant Colt logo above "PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT./ M16A2/ CAL. 5.56MM" followed by the serial number. Selector is marked "SAFE", SEMI", and "BURST". Top is barrel is marked "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7". Front of magazine well bears a blurry Department of Defense white textile ink stamp. Features include an A2 upper, flip rear sights, A2 birdcage flash hider, bayonet lug, and forward assist. Ribbed handguard, checkered pistol grip, and fixed A2 buttstock are comprised of black polymer. Accompanying this lot is an original box, plastic sleeve, and sealed bag of accessories. CONDITION: Metal components are near excellent, exhibiting bountiful amounts of their original finish and exhibiting very few and minor marks from handling and storage. Bore and bolt face show evidence of some firing. Polymer components are en-suite with the rest of the gun and show few minor handling and storage marks. A very nice example of an always desirable M16A2 machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
