Superb antique hand-made Diamond pendant with a 7.15ct Natural Fancy Light Yellow Diamond center. One (1) Unique Cushion cut, natural fancy light yellow diamond, 7.15ct, Approximate measurements: 11.35 x 11.70 x 7.80mm, Clarity VS2, having 82 facets, cut with 41 facets on both the crown and pavilion, based on a brilliant cut with additional outer rows of facets. Additional diamonds: Eight (8) uniform, very well matched European cut diamonds averaging 1.25ct each, 6.7 x 4.2mm, J color, VS2 clarity. There are also three (3) European cut diamonds set in the removable bale, ranging from 2.7mm to 3.3mm round. The total diamond weight including all twelve (12) diamonds is approximately 18 carats. Mounting: Handmade, under-gallery assembled of 14k yellow gold fronted with silver heads. Diameter of pendant is 25mm not including the bale. The pendant's reverse has two threaded holes for a pin/stem assembly, not present. There are no hallmarks present. Circa 1900. This pendant is presented with it's original custom fitted tooled leather jewelry box. It is also accompanied by an independent appraisal with an ERV of $178,000. Gross weight of pendant is 9.9 grams.
