Rare and important Galle lamp has a dome shade with mold blown bright red rhododendron flowers with amber mold blown leaves surrounding the flowers, all set against a frosted yellow background. The shade rests on a matching mold blown bulbous bass. Lamp is wired with original European sockets that illuminate both the shade and the base. Both are signed on the side in cameo "GALLE". A similar example is pictured in the book "Galle Lamps" by Alistair Duncan and George de Bartha on page 61. The shade is 14" in diameter, lamp is 18" tall. Shade and base are in very good to excellent condition.
