Early Archaic period 9000-6000 B.P. Found near Lewisburg, Marshall County, Tennessee. Ft. Payne chert. Large, first stage blades from the Early Archaic are rarely found intact. This massive example, at over 5 inches, defies all odds. High quality material allowed for keen serrations along the blade edge. Deep, well balanced notches and aerodynamic beveling define this Granddaddy as a classic Lost Lake. Chip along one side and one ear.
Item Dimensions: L. 5 - 1/2" x W. 1 - 3/4" x TH. 5/16".
