These fine revolvers were manufactured in the late 1870's. Standard features include 7-1/2" barrel, a six-shot scooped cylinder, nickel plated finish, case colored hammer, and red mottled gutta percha grips with lanyard. This gun is considered an open top and is chambered for the .44 M&H cartridge. Gun has never been fired as evidenced by the end of the cylinder. There is a slight rub on the left side of the barrel and a light drag line on the cylinder. Gun retains 99% of the original factory nickel. Hammer retains virtually all of the case colors. Gutta percha grips are near mint with one little chip at bottom. Bore and action are mint. About as fine a condition Merwin open top that you will ever find.
