Caliber .75 bore, Barrel length 45”. Offered is a lovely all original untouched U.S. Model 1795 Harper’s Ferry musket with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania stamps on the left side of stock and barrel. Barrel has numerous arsenal proofs, lock is stamped “Harper’s Ferry ” with American Eagle. Right side has previous owners initials. All iron furniture is in rich dark, as found,patina. Stock is excellent with no repairs or cracks. Three bands, original swivels, ram rod, lock and all parts. Excellent example of a 1795 model that saw wide use during the war of 1812.
