Bore measures .41, Barrel length 4”. This is an interesting revolver with no maker mark. Has Prussian inspector stamps on the right side and is an early six shot, double action with 4” octagon barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut grips and lanyard ring. The metal butt is stamped “RCMP” for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and also stamped “Dawson” for Dawson Creek which had an RCMP station. This maybe a private purchase as there is no reference to this gun in the book entitled “Canadian Military Handguns”. Remains in all original factory condition with 85% factory blue. Checkered walnut grips are very good with no cracks or chips but checkering is worn. Cylinder indexes properly but rebound spring is sticky. Bore is mint. Interesting and unusual RCMP revolver.
