846 The first gun is Model 1915 with serial #846. Caliber 8mm, Barrel length 4 1/2”. The top strap is stamped “Model 1915”. It is a six shot revolver, with single action only. Metal is gray patina. Very good checkered walnut grips. Lanyard ring is missing. Visible rifling. This revolver was manufactured in Belgium and used by the French in WWI. An example is pictured on page 76 in the book titled “French Service Handguns”. The second gun’s serial number is F52099. This revolver was manufactured in St Etienne. It is a blued six shot, double action revolver. 4-1/2” barrel. Blued finish. Checkered walnut grips with straw colored hammer and trigger. This revolver resembles a Nagant. Bore diameter is 8 mm. The right side of the barrel is stamped “S1894” and the top of the barrel is stamped “Model 1892”. All model 1892 revolvers were given the blued finish. These revolvers were popular in the hands of the French army during the First World War. This revolver contains approximately 95% of its factory finish. Perfect action, near mint grips and near mint bore.
