24" barrel in .22 caliber. Beautifully made Mauser bolt action, magazine fed, sporting rifle often referred to as Training Rifles that were actually built prior to World War II and of the highest quality and finish. Manufactured by Mauser in Oberndorf. This rifle has matching numbers, the magazine bears the Mauser banner. Bottom of the trigger guard is checkered. Has a commercial, high polished, rust blue finish with adjustable military type rear sight, ramp front sight, sling swivels, round knob checkered walnut half stock with schnabel forend, Mauser banner composite buttplate with Mauser logo stamped on right side of stock. Rifle remains in beautiful, all original condition. The floorplate, receiver and barrel retain most of their original factory blue. Albeit, the barrel is starting to thin in a couple of spots. Stocks are excellent to near mint, fine bore and action. The receiver is factory grooved for a scope. Bolt number also matches. Beautiful high quality pre-war .22 rifle.
