25-1/2" barrel in caliber 7.7mm Japanese. Offered is a very high condition so-called "Last Ditch" rifle manufactured at the Toriimatsu factory, Nagoya Arsenal. Has the full royal mum and all matching numbers. Features inverted V front side without guards, riveted front barrel band with side tang cutouts in stock, no provision for cleaning rod, riveted rear band with swivel, fixed rear sight, plum-shaped bolt knob, welded safety with notch indicator, two piece stock with wooden buttplate (still cut for top tang), and small handguard. This rifle remains in near arsenal new un-issued condition. Still has all the finish on the bolt. One of the nicest last ditch rifles on the market.
