19" barrel in caliber 6.5mm Japanese. Manufactured at the Chigusa factory, Nagoya Arsenal. Long type third variation bayonet housing, inverted V front sight with guards, open V rear sight to 2,000 meters, ground royal mum on bridge with intact 'Type 44' characters, two piece buttstock with full length handguard, two underside drain holes in forestock, knurled safety with smooth sides and notch indicator, integral folding bayonet, matching numbers, and original dust cover. No cleaning rod. Wood is in excellent condition. Carbine retains most of the original factory military blue, thinning on dust cover. Fine bore and action.
