31-1/4" barrel in caliber 6.5mm Japanese. This rifle was manufactured at the Koishikawa, Tokyo Arsenal. This rifle has the inverted V front sight without guards, adjustable rear sight to 2,400 meters, full royal mum on bridge, the characters "Type 38", standard two piece buttstock with short handguard, knurled safety with serrated sides and large tang safety indicator, flat forged buttplate, straw colored trigger, rear sight spring, and bolt stop spring. Balance of gun retains 98% of the original factory blue finish. Has the plum bolt handle. Bolt is numbered 3308. Near mint bore and action. This rifle is in brilliant condition, showing very little signs of any use on the metal and only usual dings on stock.
