Gun A) A side by side 410 bore. 3” chamber. 26” barrel. Has a raised full rib, single bead sight. Excellent bore. Barrels retain approximately 90 percent original factory blue with some light age freckling and muzzle wear. Lock up is as tight as new. Box lock frame retains approximately 60 to 70 percent of the original case colors, double set triggers, a 14” LOP from front trigger to black composite butt plate. Has a capped checkered pistol grip brown Tenite stock with no cracks. Extremely unusual to find these 1940s era Tenite stock guns with the stocks in excellent condition with no cracks or warpage. This one is beautiful with usual minor abbrasions. This gun is actually marked Eastern Arms and made for Sears but was manufactured as a private label by Stevens. Both barrels are choked full. Gun B) This is a Stevens Model 240 Over Under 410 bore with the same Tenite stock as above. This stock is in excellent condition with no cracks, or chips, or warpage. Has double triggers. Has a 14” LOP. Has 3” chambers. Barrels measure 26”. Choked full and full. The case colors have faded to gray on frame. Trigger guard has 30 percent of black enamel on aluminum guard. The barrel is a mixed blue and brown patina with some scuffs on sides. Has double hammers. Bores are excellent. Lock up is tight. Fine pair of early .410 bore Tenite guns.
