26” barrel with a bore diameter .38 (.38-55 caliber). Features a half octagon barrel, built on the 44 action, factory scroll engraving with punch dot background, loop lever, double set triggers, folding globe front sight, long range tang rear sight, checkered walnut for-end with Schnabel tip, checkered walnut pistol grip Schuetzen buttstock with left side rollover cheek piece, and Swiss butt plate with double arms. Barrel was not cut for a rear sight. The barrel is a pleasing mix of blue-brown patina. Frame is basically patina with some flashes of color on sides of lever. Walnut stocks are excellent with sharp checkering and no cracks. Action is perfect. Strong clean rifled bore. A very nice high grade Stevens target single shot.
